Lana is the Head Chef for By Word Of Mouth Caterers. She was trained at the Christina Martin School of Food and Wine and after four years spent gaining experience in South Africa, she moved abroad to London where she gained extensive international experience in fine cuisine, working at a number of top restaurants. Lana travelled to Italy, France, Venice and Turkey where she was inspired by the unique tastes and flavours these countries offer.
“By using layering of platters and clever colour compositions, I present dishes in an uncomplicated way which allows me to place emphasis on the food as the main focal point. “It is a fine balance between stylish and stark”, she explains.
